About SmartLinq

SmartLinq was created to make smart living simpler, safer, and more personal. The idea began with two friends who had always been fascinated by how things work.

From the beginning, we were both endlessly curious — about the world, about technology, about science. We loved taking things apart, tinkering with circuits, and experimenting with code, always trying to understand how things worked. That curiosity carried us into university, where one of us studied physics and the other pharmacy, each searching for a deeper understanding in our own way.

Over time, our paths converged again in technology — one through software engineering, the other through data science and artificial intelligence. Re-igniting that early passion for building and experimenting, we found ourselves drawn to a shared mission: using technology to make everyday life simpler, safer, and smarter.

There was a clear gap in the market. Most smart home solutions were either too technical — demanding endless DIY tinkering — or too generic, offering one-size-fits-all systems that didn't reflect real lifestyles. Families, renters, and hosts needed something in between: solutions that actually fit the way they live.

SmartLinq bridges that gap — combining tailored design, technical expertise, and practical automation to create homes that work for the people who live in them.
